Work & Travel America

This program offers an incredible opportunity for international post-secondary students to visit the United States and experience a life-changing cultural exchange with other students in the US. You will have the chance to spend your summer holiday unearthing what it is like to work, live and travel across the country. You will get to experience the day-to-day lives of everyday Americans. You will be able to build new friendships that will last you a lifetime, develop new cultural experiences, skill and broaden your view of the world. The J1 visa program offers great opportunities to students who want to travel and work to earn some cash and at the same time have fun. After your program ends (Up to 4 months), you have a grace period of 30days that you can travel around the country to visit other interesting parts of the country before returning to your home country. You will return home with high motivation and ready to start your new semester in your school.

Eligibility

• You must be between 18 to 28 years.

• You must be a full-time post-secondary student in Ghana

• You must have completed a least one semester of post-secondary education

• Willing and able to abide by the rules and terms of the Work and Travel program and the laws of the united states.

• Must be proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing.

• Participating students must be on school long break between May/June to September.
